His fitness goal: exercise bike

John of Largo is looking to get fit, but because he doesn't have a car he wants to exercise on his balcony. He is looking for an exercise bike in good working condition and hopes that someone out there will have one they are willing to give away. Because John doesn't have transportation, he would be grateful if the bike could be delivered to him. John can be reached at (727) 348-7402.

Peg of Homosassa could really use a lift . . . for her husband's lawn mower. He has an older riding mower and cannot work on it without it being lifted up. Peg is hoping that someone out there has a used "lawn mower lift" to donate to them. Peg points out that when you get older, things get harder to do, and the lift would really help. Peg can be reached at (352) 503-7665 in the evening.

Gil of Spring Hill just got rid of a Kenmore microwave oven because it was sparking, but he saved the glass carousel plate. Gil says it is in perfect condition and measures 14 inches across, and that the only identifying mark/number on it is Y124. He hopes someone out there will need it, and he points out that it could be used as a serving tray. If you are interested, it must be picked up. Gil can be reached at (352)684-5813 in the afternoon.

In the true spirit of Reader's Exchange, Donna of Countryway (near Oldsmar) has things to donate, as well as items she hopes to find. Donna is retired and has different hobbies to pass the time. She just bought a "CRICUT" cutting machine that uses different cartridges to cut a series of different shapes. Donna is hoping that someone has CRICUT materials they no longer need, such as cartridges, keyboard covers, papers or blades. She will gladly pick them up. Because of her varied interests, Donna has three large boxes of various wooden shapes (hearts, ovals, rectangles, etc.) to give to a crafter. These items must be picked up. Donna can be reached between 10:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. at (813) 500-6048.

Leda of Dunedin wants to do something sweet for her granddaughter, who recently discovered Pizzelle cookies and fell in love with them. Leda would like to give her a pizzelle iron as a surprise, so she hopes someone out there has one hanging around unused and wouldn't mind parting with it. If you have one, please call Leda at (727) 734-4583. She will be happy to pick it up.

Several months ago, Lucie Somers wrote in asking for birthday cards. She still continues to get them, especially from one "angel" in particular, who doesn't leave a name or return address. Lucie would like to encourage this person to spread the love to others, perhaps starting a pen pal exchange.
