Reader's Exchange: He'd like to give HO scale model train layout to charitable, nonprofit group

All aboard! Ronald of Palm Harbor has an HO scale model train layout he would like to give to a nonprofit, charitable organization. The layout is 5 feet by 9 feet and consists of more than 150 feet of track, 20 switches, buildings, mountains, tunnels, bridges and more. Ronald says that interested organizations can come look it over before deciding whether to take it. The layout must be picked up. Ronald can be reached at (727) 942-2039, and if he doesn't answer, please leave a message.

Here's an offer that to many is worth its weight in gold. Coralie of Tampa has a large number of unused Christmas cards and general greeting cards that she would like to give to a worthy organization. There are so many organizations out there that are always in need of these items. If you are affiliated with one of them, please call Coralie at (813) 908-6176.

Can anyone help Anne of Clearwater find a fruit she is after? She is in need of some calamondins, those cute little orange-looking citrus fruits.

Anne has had a tree and enjoyed, each year, making calamondin marmalade for friends and relatives. Unfortunately, this year her tree is not bearing, and she hopes someone out there has a tree from which she can pick some fruit. Anne says she'll be glad to trade the world's easiest and tastiest recipe for calamondin marmalade in return for some fruit. That sounds just perfect to give as a gifts this holiday season. If you have a calamondin tree that Anne can pick from, please call her at (727) 446-4410.

Marianne of Largo would like to bring the joy of music into someone's life. Her clubhouse has been doing a bit of housecleaning, and as a result, she has many multiple booklets of sing-along words and music published in the 1980s, both secular and nonsecular, and multiple copies of individual songs (upward of at least 25 copies each).

Marianne also has collections of popular songs with just the words, as the tunes are so well known, several books of piano music and organ music.

And for the quilters out there, she has copies of Quilters Newsletter Magazine from 1997 (minus the September issue) and 1998 (minus the May issue) that she would like to give to a good home.

Marianne can be reached at (727) 581-6267.
