Reader's Exchange: Liberty Manor for Veterans seeks bikes, more for vets in need

RECOMMENDED READING

Liberty Manor for Veterans in Tampa provides housing for homeless veterans, and to them, every day is Veterans Day. They rely on donations to help their residents, and are currently in dire need of new or used bicycles to help the veterans get to the VA hospital for medical treatments. The veterans also benefit from such donations as canned goods, toilet paper, paper towels, towels, twin sheets, garbage bags, dish and laundry detergent and a luxury — sodas. If you have any of these items to donate, please call Jeff Luddeke at (813) 352-7856.
