Zara of Clearwater is a wonderful friend. She has a friend with cancer who loves to crochet to pass the time while she's in treatment. The trouble is, she can't afford yarn, so Zara is hoping that someone out there would be willing to donate yarn that is in good condition, of any color and type. If you have yarn to donate, Zara will be happy to pick it up. She can be reached at (727) 446-2322.

It's so neat to hear about all of the creative people in the area. Myndee Washington is one of them. She designs costumes for a nonprofit, family-friendly theater. As with any nonprofit, the group relies on donations to make most of the magic happen, so Myndee is hoping to receive donation of fabric and sewing notions. She is also hoping someone has a serger they are no longer using. Myndee can be reached at (813) 545-4037.

A while back, Marie Hodge wrote in looking for a scrub brush for hardwood/tile floors. She would like to thank three lovely women who responded to her request. Two of them called Marie to tell her about the Hoover FloorMate SpinScrub that they both have and how much they loved theirs. The third woman called to say she had a Hoover floor scrubber that she didn't use anymore, and insisted on bringing it over to Marie.
Lo and behold, it was the same Hoover Spot Scrubber that Marie had been after! Marie would like to thank the women who called her, and to wish the best to all of the helpful and generous people who respond to REX requests.
