Reader's Exchange: She'd like VHS cassettes of particular shows for her viewing pleasure

Vicki of Dunedin and her family have used the Reader's Exchange for a long time, to great success. Some years ago, Vicki's mother wrote in asking for a VCR. They received about 80 calls that day, and they got so many VCRs, they are still using them to this day! Now Vicki is hoping to have the same success with another request. She is hoping someone will have VHS cassettes of the television programs Hill Street Blues, Barney Miller and WKRP in Cincinnati. If you have any or all of these programs on VHS that you would like to give to Vicki, please call her at (727) 784-0646.

Can anyone assist Dilhia of Seminole in finding something she really needs? Due to severe back problems, Dilhia spends the majority of the day in her adjustable bed, and has her meals in bed as well. She is in need of a table that rolls to and from the bed, the type that hospitals use. It will make it much easier for her to eat in bed. She has no idea where she can find one of these, but she is on a limited income and is afraid she cannot afford to buy one. If anyone out there has a rolling table to donate to Dilhia, please call her at (727) 329-6981.

Carol of Seminole used REX to give many issues of Pennsylvania magazine and Common Ground, a magazine from Mifflin and Huntington counties in Pennsylvania, to a good home. Carol was recently cleaning out a closet, and she found more issues of both magazines. She'd like to find another good home for these, so if you're interested, please call Carol at (727) 399-2205 after 9 a.m. to arrange a pickup.

Kathryn of St. Pete Beach is not computer savvy, so she has a hard time finding some goods and services she would like to use. She's hoping that some people will help her locate a few things. First, Kathryn would like to find the fabric "sieve" circles that go into ladies' compacts. Next, Kathryn is looking for the name and number of a business that repairs brass lamps when they have become tarnished. Also, Kathryn is looking for a business that makes furnace filters. Finally, Kathryn would like to find hand warmers for someone whose hands are always cold. If you can help Kathryn with any or all of these items, please give her a call at (727) 360-8666.
