LED night-light

Company: American Tack & Hardware Co. Inc.

Quantity: 227,000.

Why? An electrical short circuit in the night-light can cause it to overheat and smolder or melt, posing fire and burn hazards.

What models? Amerelle, 71190 model number on packaging; Amertac, 327895 model number on packaging; and Everyday Basics, 076092 model number on packaging. Each has model number 71190 or 71190A on the night-light.

Where sold? Hardware stores, home centers and lighting showrooms from March 2009-October 2010.

Food service beverage cups, mugs

Company: Carlisle FoodService Products.

Quantity: 111,000.

Why? The cups and mugs can break when exposed to hot liquids.

Where sold? Through distributor outlets and online, including food service companies, broadliners and equipment supply distributors from January 2011-January 2012.

Why? A software error could lead to stalling while idling with a quarter-tank or less of gasoline.

Volvo vehicles

Company: Volvo Cars of NA LLC.

Quantity: 17,000.

Why? A wire harness could break when the seat is moved forward or back, preventing the front airbags from deploying properly.

What models? 2012 Volvo S60, S80, XC60 and XC70.

Where sold? Dealers.

Children's pajamas and sleepwear

Company: Papa Bear Loungeabouts LLC.

Quantity: 10,000.

Why? The garments fail to meet federal flammability standards for children's sleepwear.

What models? All styles of pajama sets, separate pajama pants and nightgowns sold in boys and girls sizes 0-6X and 7-14. A garment label with the name "Papa Bear Loungeabouts" and a picture of a bear is sewn into the center back neckline on the outside of the garments.

Where sold? Children's clothing and specialty retailers and online from January 2004-December 2011.

Grass trimmers

Company: American Honda Motor Co.

Quantity: 14,000.

Why? The shaft can crack and cause the lower gear case and cutting attachment to detach, posing a laceration hazard.

What models? The model number HHT35SUKAT trimmer is gas-powered and has a red engine housing with the word "Honda" on the top front and a bicycle handlebar-style grip. A label on the shaft includes the words "Honda" and "HHT35S." Recalled trimmers are in the serial number range HAHA-1000001 to HAHA-1017345.

Where sold? Honda Power Equipment dealers and online from May 2006-2012.

Bicycle brake cables

Company: W.L. Gore & Associates Inc.

Why? When the brake cables are installed on Campagnolo style brake levers, they can detach and cause the brakes to fail.

Where sold? Bicycle specialty shops, sporting goods retailers, Amazon.com and other online retailers from January 2008-January 2012.

Why? The foot brackets used to support the hammock can crack, causing the stand to collapse.
