Did Eminem know or no?
If you caught Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards, you're no doubt still reeling from what was easily the most memorable moment of the show: Sacha Baron Cohen's gay fashionista, Bruno, landing bottom to top on Eminem's lap, which resulted in some extreme cheek-to-cheek action. Hilarious! Especially since Marshall Mathers has always been accused of being a homophobe. But now people are shocked — SHOCKED! — that the whole thing might have been staged. Well, doy, it is MTV, guys. It's easy enough to assume that Cohen's stunt — in which he flapped over the audience in a jock strap and angel wings, ostensibly got his "kugelsack" tied up in the rigging and then fell to earth, landing face down on Em — was planned, as the rapper's camp is saying. In fact, the L.A. Times even points out that producer Mark Burnett hinted about the stunt to Hollyscoop by touting Mathers' appearance on the show, saying "Eminem — It's epic tonight! It's epic!" But what was not so apparent was whether Em was expecting to really be the butt of a joke, quite literally. Rumor across the InterSphere says Marshall expected Cohen to land in the rapper's lap, but not facedown.

In the latest Vanity Fair, Depp shows off his patch of land, Little Hall's Pond Cay, and its six beaches, all named after special people: partner Vanessa Paradis, 10-year-old daughter Lily Rose, 7-year-old son Jack, Hunter S. Thompson, Marlon Brando and even Heath's Place for Heath Ledger, whom Depp helped replace in the upcoming The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. "It's my way of trying to return to normalcy. Escapism is survival to me," Depp says of his island, which has several small, solar-powered apartments and a fleet of golf carts.

Heidi, Spencer really do want to get out of there
If you sat through Monday night's premiere of NBC's I'm a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! you should know that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt weren't too happy to learn they were expected to work on the show. E! News says the refugees from The Hills wanted to quit the very first day they arrived in Costa Rica, probably because they suddenly realized they were on a show with people like Janice Dickinson, John Salley and Stephen Baldwin. Those people can't help their careers! "They wanted to be treated like stars," a source told Ryan Seacrest. "(Spencer) literally thought he and Heidi were staying in a Four Seasons, working out and getting a tan." An executive had to plead with them to stay on the show after they refused to eat the same food as the rest of the cast and didn't want to be teamed up with any of the other C-listers. That suit must be hating his life right about now, having to beg for Speidi to remain.
