The Hulkster may now be married
It's entirely possible that Hulk Hogan married Jennifer McDaniel over the weekend, given his Twitter proclivities and the fact they just got a marriage license a little while ago. "Sitting outside with my dogs and new awesome Mrs Hogan. the waves are crashing and life is beautiful. only positive vibes. like attracts like HH" Hogan wrote Saturday on his Twitter account, @HulkHogan4Real. There were, of course, no announcements of any kind about this, and we've even been scanning the announcements page. We'll have to keep an eye out for the public unveiling of the new Mrs. Hogan.
Porn actor: Charlie Sheen was horrifying
Desperate for any shred of fame she can recover from her infamous night with Charlie Sheen, porn actor Capri Anderson told Good Morning America and Nightline that she feared for her life while the actor went on a rampage in his hotel room and that she's filing criminal charges of battery and false imprisonment against him. "I never expected the night would unfold the way it did," she told GMA. "It's hard to say being that it was my first time hanging out with him if it was normal of his everyday behavior or not. He seemed like a very egotistical person." So egotistical, in fact, she told Nightline that he offered her $20,000 to keep quiet. Sheen's attorney, Yale Galanter, noted that she told police everything was fine and is changing her story only to get money. "We will defend this lawsuit vigorously and will never pay her a dime," Galanter told ABC.
DiCaprio aboard aborted airline flight
Leonardo DiCaprio was almost another airline disaster statistic over the weekend, since he was aboard a Sunday flight from New York to Moscow that had to return to JFK after one of its engines shut down without warning. The Delta jetliner had to return to the airport after the incident, although everyone was probably fairly safe. DiCaprio's rep told Us magazine the actor "wishes to commend the actions of the pilot and flight crew in bringing the plane to a safe landing." A source told the glossy that Leo "signed autographs for all the crew members when they landed." DiCaprio was going to the four-day Tiger Summit in St. Petersburg, Russia, to try to help prevent the extinction of tigers.
Teri Hatcher isn't leaving Housewives
Every time you start to think the American media is hopelessly mired in spreading misinformation, just remember that we're at least not as bad as the British media. After the press there declared Teri Hatcher was quitting Desperate Housewives, the actor refuted claims herself via Facebook. "There are not enough adjectives to describe how stupid, off base, and ridiculously untrue this is," Hatcher wrote on her official Facebook fan page after the U.K.'s Daily Mail said she told producers of the ABC show she was leaving to make her own show. With any luck, that means this melodramedy will be killed after its contract expires in 2012.
