Travel Channel fan-favorite Adam Richman has his eye on Tampa's Skipper's Smokehouse, singling out the house grouper reuben as a contender on Adam Richman's Best Sandwich in America, premiering June 6.
Richman has gone on a nationwide quest for the best sandwiches, rounding up 10 regional favorites, from Primanti Brothers' Cap & Egg (Pittsburgh) to Domilise's shrimp po-boy (New Orleans). Skipper's entry is a beauty, featuring a filet of grouper topped with melted Swiss, Thousand Island dressing and warm sauerkraut between two slices of marble rye bread.
