Itinerant chef Jeannie Pierola will take her movable feast to BT's in Tampa for 20 nights between Aug. 2 and 28. Pierola, former executive chef of Bern's Steak House and SideBern's, has embraced the national phenomenon of the "popup" dining experience, building her guerrilla restaurant Kitchenbar first in Pinky's Diner on Bay to Bay Boulevard, then on Chefs on the Loose also on Bay to Bay, and now in B.T. Nguyen's newest restaurant location. Nguyen is spending the month abroad, leaving her kitchen available to Pierola to craft her brand of modern world cuisine for popup fans. For this installment of Kitchenbar, Amy Cairns (wine director of SideBern's and cheese sommelier at Bern's Steak House) will marry the menu with a selection of wines.
