2 Get Downtown: The monthly "first Friday" throw-down means Central Avenue in St. Petersburg is closed to traffic and all the bars and restaurants are open for the crowds that show up for the free block party with drink specials and live music. 3 Beertopia: Many say Tank's Tap Room is already utopia with its seemingly endless line of beers on tap. This Saturday the Beertopia celebration of beer will have free samplings from brewers including Tampa's Cigar City, food specials and live music.
