Cult Movie Night: Troll 2: Locally based cult film site cultflicks.net hosts its monthly midnight cult movie with Troll 2, considered "the worst movie ever made" by the website. Weirdly, it contains zero trolls. But there are plenty of vegetarian goblins who turn victims into plants before eating them. The film also contains the infamous "OH MY GOD!" scene that has been viewed more than a million times on YouTube. Good thing there's a full liquor bar available. $5. The show is at 11 p.m. Saturday at Tampa Pitcher Show, 14416 N Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. (813) 963-0578.

Out-of-this-World Call: We want to see what comes up on the Caller ID when the Science Center of Pinellas County hosts a downlink with the International Space Station today. Some lucky students have been selected to ask the astronauts questions live from the space station. Astronauts participating include Tracy Caldwell Dyson, Douglas Wheelock and Shannon Walker. NASA Television will broadcast video during the event and it will be streamed live throughout the center at 7701 22nd Ave. N, St. Petersburg, and on the Internet. The event starts at 10:30 a.m. Free. (727) 384-0027.

Book & Wine Festival: This is perfect for those who love to sip their way through a good book. The inaugural event features local author Tim Dorsey (Florida Roadkill, Gator A Go-Go) with his talk at 8 p.m., plus Kim Llewellyn, Sean Clouden, Kathy Carmichael and other authors and poets. Free wine and food tastings, treats from food vendors, wines for sale and entertainment. Free admission; charge for full food, wine and beverages. It's 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Station Square Park, 612 Cleveland St., Clearwater. (727) 562-4800.

$5 Day at the Zoo: It's a deal, so it's often crowded. Go early on Sunday, be patient and wear clothes you don't mind getting wet when you cool off in the spray area. Lowry Park Zoo, 1101 W Sligh Ave., Tampa, is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. (813) 935-8552.

Festival del Sabor and Hispanic Heritage KickOff: The Ybor City Saturday Market this week includes the annual flavor festival showcasing Hispanic culture through food, music and art. There's a Latin recipe contest and cookoff to find the area's best arroz con pollo (rice with chicken). Cooks could win up to $1,000 in prizes. The Glazer Children's Museum sponsors the kids area. To sign up, contact Lynn Schultz at ybormarket@yahoo.com or (813) 241-2442. Free. The event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Centennial Park, 1800 E Eighth Ave., Tampa. (813) 241-2442.
