The action and noise won't just be on the streets of downtown St. Petersburg during the Honda Grand Prix later this month. It'll be in the skies as well.
Organizers for the annual motorsports event announced Tuesday that the Red Bull Air Show would return during race weekend. The air show will feature stunt aircraft and a sky diving team.
Other entertainment events announced for the March 25-27 Grand Prix:
• The Budweiser Clydesdales will be on display behind the grandstands.
• "Drifting" demonstrations, where drivers intentionally lose traction at high speeds, will be held daily.
• The Izod IndyCar Fan Village debuts, featuring interactive simulators and meet-and-greet opportunities with drivers.
• The 24,000-square-foot Bright House Speed Zone returns, featuring driving simulators and a cafe area.
