Here's the bad news: Actor Al Pacino won't come to Clearwater's Ruth Eckerd Hall in November as was previously announced. He'll be on Broadway until January. Here's the good news: He is coming to Ruth Eckerd in early 2011 to spend an evening discussing his life, roles and love of movies and theater. And even though a firm date hasn't been set, you can still buy tickets for his performance today. If you buy the tickets, priced at $50, $85 and $150, but find you can't go once the date is set, you can get a refund. It's an offer you can't refuse. And today, as the hall's entire 2010-11 season goes on sale, there are limited quantities of $29 tickets for nearly all the shows, including Pacino's. You can get that deal only at the box office from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. while supplies last. For information, call (727) 791-7400. To see the schedule, go to tampabay.com/things-to-do.
