Tampa Bay Start! Heart Walk: Do your heart some good and end up on the Jumbotron like a rock star. Take either a 3-mile or a 1-mile route through Al Lopez Park and Raymond James Stadium and down the sideline of the playing field. Walkers will have their image displayed on the big screen. It's free, but donations are appreciated for the American Heart Association. It starts at 8 a.m. Saturday at the stadium, 4201 N Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. (727) 563-8114. raymondjames.com/stadium.

Lunchtime Music Series: This sure beats the usual Lean Cuisine at my desk. At lunchtime Thursdays, Clearwater hosts free concerts in the downtown district. This week, bring a sack lunch and enjoy the blues stylings of local artist Walker Smith. He and the band perform a grab bag of blues originals and covers, from the Beale Street stuff to Chicago-style shufflers, at 11:30 a.m. today. Station Square Park, 612 Cleveland St., Clearwater. Free.

TAmpa Bay Home Show: No more hiding from your honey-do list. Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg will have hundreds of home specialists for one-stop advice and shopping for furniture, decorating ideas, landscaping and remodeling trends. Bring a sample of your soil to be tested by Stan DeFreitas, "Mr. Green Thumb." The show runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $3, and parking is free.

Concerts on the Point: Gulfport continues its free monthly fall concert series, this time with the dance music of the Party Time Band. Beer, wine and hot dog concessions available for the show starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday on the waterfront by the Gulfport Recreation Center, 5730 Shore Blvd. S. Free.

Family Fun Day: Pasco Kids First brings this day of play Saturday with a half-mile trail walk around the lake at Sims Park, interactive activities, dancing to DJ Rick, crafts and more. Free, except it's $2 for all-you-can-play inflatables. It's 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sims Park on the river, 6341 Bank St., New Port Richey.
