Dancing With the Stars begins a new season at 8 p.m. on ABC with Tampa Bay's own Chris Jericho, a part-time resident. The wrestler/author practiced at the Palm Harbor Arthur Murray Studio for two weeks with partner Cheryl Burke, and the studio will be featured on the show. The studio, rightly proud of its participation, is hosting a viewing party at Tiffany's Family Restaurant in Palm Harbor from 8-10 p.m. Monday. Watch for a review of Jericho's performance at TV critic Eric Deggans' blog after the show.

This is totally meant to brighten your day and nothing else: video of a baby cheetah at Busch Gardens. Watch it and smile. (And be sure to turn on the volume so you can hear it chirping like a little bird!)

There's a new 5K road race associated with the Honda Grand Prix at 6:15 p.m. Friday. So why are we telling you about it Monday? Because the first 1,000 people to register get free admission to the race activities Friday. Here's the info and a link where you can go to sign up.

There's a new event called Seven Days Conscious Art Experience that describes itself as a gathering of Christian artists. Starting Monday, six days of events range from visual arts to indie bands, improv workshops and performances. All are at the Underground in Ybor City, including the opening reception with artists showing slides of their work.

Monday's big deal sounds delicious: Get $50 worth of food for $25 at the Venue.
