Pack a picnic basket (and Toto, too!) and be off to see The Wizard of Oz in the great outdoors Saturday in Tampa — for free! The flying monkeys will soar on a 40-foot inflatable screen in Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park, on the downtown waterfront, as part of Tampa Theatre's Sunset Cinema series starting at 8 p.m. Bring blankets or small lawn chairs and snacks, but no alcohol. Got a baby bump growing? Get immersed in the baby industrial complex Sunday at the Baby Show and Expo at the Quorum Hotel, 700 N Westshore Blvd. in Tampa from noon to 4 p.m. In addition to lots of products, there are speakers on topics such as natural childbirth, prenatal yoga, first aid and child development. The Tampa Museum of Art's monthly art party, Art After Dark, may have moved to an interim location — Centro Espanol at 2306 N Howard Ave. — but it's the same combo platter of art, music and libations for young art lovers. It's $10, free for members from 8 to 11 p.m. Friday. tampamuseum.com.

Climb rocks for a good cause Saturday at the Art Rocks! Climb For the Cure fundraiser for All Children's Hospital at Vertical Ventures, 5402 Pioneer Park Blvd., in Tampa. The party starts at 6:30 p.m. with food, art, live entertainment and silent auction. Then enjoy rock climbing for all ages. $10 at www.verticalventures.com.

Museums across Tampa Bay open their doors for a free day of culture on Saturday for International Museum Day. Of course, most of them hope you'll drop a donation to show some support for the cause. But this is a great opportunity to visit some of the places you never get around to, such as the Dali Museum (above), Florida Holocaust Museum, Great Explorations Children's Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Sunken Gardens and Tampa's Museum of Science and Industry.

Get your rebel yell going at the Civil War Days and Heritage Village Skirmish, Heritage Village's annual Civil War reenactment, with 100 re-enactors in period uniforms and weaponry. There's also traditional craft demonstrations, vendors with period memorabilia for sale, children's activities and food. Early birds get the worms, and worm holders get the fish at the Pier Aquarium's Kids Fishing Tournament. The annual event charges only $1 for kids ages 12 and younger to get a rod and reel, tackle kit, bait and T-shirt. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and fishing is 9 to 11 a.m., prizes and trophies awarded at 11 a.m. at the Pier, 800 Second Ave. NE, St. Petersburg.

The real estate crash has affected pets who can become homeless when their owners lose their home and can't find an apartment that will let them keep a dog. All this month, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay is holding Pet Palooza, pet rescue events at pet-friendly apartment complexes. This Sunday they will be at Camden Preserve in South Tampa, 6501 S West Shore Blvd., from 1 to 4 p.m. with adoptable pets, micro-chipping coupons, prizes, dog training tips and more. Boxing champion Antonio Tarver hosts Celebrities 4 Charity Weekend, a fundraiser to benefit Royal Theatre Boys & Girls Clubs Arts Academy of the Suncoast. Hearing local news anchors sing karaoke can be really can be hard to take sober, but it is for pediatric cancer, so check out the Koncert for the Kids on Saturday. There will be warbling by such local notables as Michael Clayton, Tedd Webb, Sharon Taylor, Charley Belcher, Jen Holloway, right, and others. There's also a silent auction of sports memorabilia at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Ritz Ybor, 1503 E Seventh Ave., Tampa. $30. (813) 839-9393.

The Relay for Life is an overnight experience designed to bring together those who have been touched by cancer. The 18-hour event includes sponsored team members who take turns walking or running laps to raise funds for education, advocacy, research and lodging for cancer patients at the Benjamin Mendick Hope Lodge at the University of South Florida. Sunday is $5 Day at the Zoo, meaning more to spend on monkey chow at Lowry Park, Tampa's 56-acre, natural-habitat zoo. There are extra fees for rides, tours and, our personal favorite, hand-feeding giraffes a biscuit. The park is open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at 1101 W Sligh Ave., Tampa. $5 all ages.
