Friday Night Rewind It doesn't matter which team you cheer for. We've got video previews of every high school football program in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando County.
Game show themes
These themes are probably going to make some of you have flashbacks to wasted mornings or afternoons spent sprawled in front of the TV.
Red Bull Flugtag competition Pigs, dutchmen and other odd human-powered machines will fly — or at least try to — during Saturday's contest in downtown Tampa. More than 30 teams, each consisting of four pushers and one pilot, will launch human-powered aircraft from a 30-foot-tall ramp at water's edge behind the Tampa Convention Center. It's free for spectators to laugh at them as they try from 12:30 to 3 p.m. See redbullflugtagusa.com.
Take the kids
$5 Day at the zoo This Sunday brings one of Tampa Bay's most popular deals — $5 Day at the Lowry Park Zoo. Just be warned, these quarterly specials draw about three times the number of people you'd normally see at the zoo on a Sunday because it normally costs $18.95 for adults, $14.50 kids ages 3 to 11 to get in. It's from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1101 W Sligh Ave. in Tampa.
Live comedy
Tommy Davidson The former In Living Color actor and comic, who does killer impersonations of Sugar Ray Leonard, Elton John and Spike Lee, performs Friday through Sunday at the Improv Comedy Theater, 1600 E Eighth Ave., Tampa. $22-$22. (813) 864-4000. tampaimprov.com.

Ghost fanboys
TapsCon Paranormal fun for the whole family is promised at the Atlantic Paranormal Society Convention in Clearwater Saturday and Sunday at the Belleview Biltmore Resort. Robert the Doll, the creepy toy that is a regular stop on Key West ghost tours, is leaving the island for the first time in more than 100 years for this. Also, "Ms. Exorcist" Linda Blair will be here, and there will be a concert by Underbelly (three members of the original Blue Oyster Cult) on Saturday. Cast members from Ghost Hunters and, oddly, castaways from Survivor 9(Vanuatu) Travis "Bubba" Sampson and winner Chris Daughtery will get their ghost on, too. Tickets are $35 per day or $60 for the weekend at tapscon.com. — Sharon Kennedy Wynne wynne@tampabay.com
