Fluff up the pup in her best bunny ears and hop over to Doggie Cakes on Saturday for a photo with the Easter Bunny. Cats and other pets are welcome, too, but good luck finding a teeny bonnet for the iguana. The event is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the dog bakery and boutique, 5644 Main St. in New Port Richey. $5 suggested donation benefits the SPCA. (727) 845-1200.

Suds on Sunday

Get your pooch smelling spring fresh at Dunedin Brewery, kind of a mini dog spa for the day. The Dunedin Doggie Rescue's monthly fundraiser includes a dog wash, ear wash and nail trimming. Plus, Easter bandannas, clothing and dog treats. Leashed dogs are allowed in the parking lot or on the patio from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Washes are $7 to $9 depending on dog size, and proceeds benefit rescuing and finding new homes for bay area dogs. And here's the best part: Pet owners get a Dunedin brew for every dog wash. The brewery is at 937 Douglas Ave. in Dunedin. (727) 736-0606.

Pets About Town

Take your best buddy on a doggie date to MacDinton's Irish Pub. You'll find drink specials — but please, no hooch for the pooch — live music and giveaways from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday. The bar is at 405 S Howard Ave., Tampa; (813) 251-8999.

Ruskin PetFest

Does your dog juggle bones or howl along to Hound Dog? Then get your tail over to this event, which features contests on silly tricks, fashion and pet-owner lookalikes. Plus product vendors. It runs 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Dr. Ott's Off-Leash Dog Park, Third Avenue and 21st Street SE, Ruskin. Free admission.
