Briefs: Ybor Film Festival at Hillsborough Community College, Tampa

Film festival: Hillsborough Community College presents the sixth annual Ybor Film Festival of the Moving Image. This year's theme is Global Snapshots. The festival presents independent films, documentaries and personal films. There is a free opening night lecture titled "Illumined Pleasures: Dali & Film." Walk: The American Lung Association sponsors the "Blow the Whistle on Asthma" walk. The group hopes to raise $40,000 to benefit those with asthma and other lung deficiencies. Record sale: Vinyl Fever Tampa celebrates National Record Store Day with live entertainment, refreshments and prizes. The store will have a sidewalk sale of 99-cent CDs and other collectibles.
