NEW PORT RICHEY — The big event at today's Chasco Fiesta is the Chasco Street Parade at 1 p.m. The parade starts at Grand and Gulf boulevards, travels north on Grand around Orange Lake, south on Bank Street, then west on Main Street to U.S. 19.
In past years, the parade has drawn more than 100,000 spectators.
Even so, the parade is only one of a dozen events happening in and around Sims Park today through the end of Chasco on March 29.
