Meet the artist: A reception for artist James E. Sikes will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Pasco Arts Council's art center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. His works in "Unspoiled Japan: Paintings & Collages" will be exhibited Saturday through April 17 at the center. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.

Thoroughly terrific: The musical Thoroughly Modern Millie continues matinees and evenings through April 19 at the Show Palace Dinner Theatre, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. High-energy dancing, singing: Richey Suncoast Theatre continues the musical comedy Crazy for You through March 15 at the theater, 6237 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. For the folkies: The Celtic and alternative folk duo Juniper! perform at 3 p.m. Saturday at the New Port Richey Library, 5939 Main St.

Moonlight serenade: Tarpon Springs Recreation Department and the Friends of Music on the Beach will hold a concert at Sunset Beach in Tarpon Springs from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Future concerts will be on April 16, May 7, June 11, July 9, Aug. 6, Sept. 10, Oct. 8 and Nov. 5. Hot dogs, popcorn, soda and water will be available for purchase. Take blankets or folding chairs for seating. The concerts are free.

Festival Singers: Nature Coast Festival Singers will perform at 3 p.m. March 15 at Nativity Lutheran Church, 6363 Commercial Way (U.S. 19) just north of State Road 50 in Weeki Wachee; 3 p.m. March 22 at Faith Presbyterian Church, 200 Mount Fair Ave., Brooksville; and 3 p.m. March 29 at Spring Hill United Church of Christ, 4244 Mariner Blvd. Free, but an offering to the music education fund will be accepted.

Australia: The movie starring Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman will be shown at 1 p.m. March 17 at the Tarpon Springs Community Center, 400 S Walton Ave. It's about a female rancher in World War II Australia. Free.
