The Erase Hate Festival, which was scheduled to take place all day in downtown Tampa Saturday with headliner Brandi Carlile, has been postponed "due to the severe inclement weather predicted for tomorrow," reads a statement from organizers. "In the interest of the safety of all our attendees and entertainers we have made the decision to postpone the Erase Hate Tampa Bay festival. Our new date will be announced as soon as it is confirmed." The event was free, so no need to worry about refunds — unless you bought a reserved VIP seat; no refunds for those are available. Rather all VIP tickets and packages will be honored on the festival's new date. "We are working feverishly with all parties involved to select the very best date possible for our event, thank you for your patience while we work through these details," the statement said.
