Five for your radar: Catch a 'Shark,' score 'Rent' tickets, snag an autographed Martha book, sneak out for a Rays lunch, remember the 'Lusitania'

The name Kevin Harrington should be familiar to aspiring entrepreneurs. He's a pioneer in the infomercial industry and one of the judges on the show Shark Tank on ABC. He'll be speaking at an early morning lecture at the University of Tampa on Thursday. But you have to register by today to get in. Here's where you sign up.

American Stage in the Park will follow up its successful rock musical from last year (Hair) with another bohemian-inspired production, Rent. Previews start April 13, and we have tickets to give away to that performance. We also have a new contests channel, so check back frequently to see if we have any new giveaways like this golf package.

Design diva Martha Stewart visited Haslam's Book Store in St. Petersburg last week on a whim and ended up signing several of her titles that were on the shelves (in between petting the store's resident cat, Teacup). Are there any left? Only Haslam's knows for sure, but could be worth a call or a visit.

The Rays are trying to get back on track against the Angels after dropping their first three games. But it's probably safe to say they won't do it in a packed Trop since the game is at 1:10 p.m. Still, if you like room to stretch out and not have any competition for the foul balls, this could be just the ticket. Just tell your boss you're going out for a Cuban sandwich burger, one of the new offerings there.

Perhaps the significance of this day slipped your mind since the last World War I veteran died recently. But the U.S. declared war on Germany on this date in 1917. What, you're wondering, does this have to do with Tampa Bay? It just so happens that the Armed Forces Military Museum in Largo has an amazing diorama devoted to the Great War. We thought we'd use the occasion to put it (and its Saddam Hussein uniform) on your radar.
