Five for your radar: The Band Perry goes for the dogs, Lightning fever, Zorilla's back in town and free music everywhere you turn

Would your dog enjoy getting a good scrubbing by CMA's new artist of the year award winners? Join with volunteers from Purina Dog Chow for a Charity Dog Wash with the Band Perry before their concert with Tim McGraw in this fundraiser for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. It starts at 11 a.m. and there's a chance to win tickets to their show.

Hopped on the Lightning bandwagon yet? Good timing. Single-game tickets for their second-round playoff games against the Washington Caps are going on sale at 10 a.m. Find more info here.

Or maybe you're thinking about a Rays game now that they seem to be on a roll. You're in luck there, too, because they're giving away Zorilla T-shirts to the first 10,000 fans in the gate to watch them take on the Los Angeles Angels. Game time is 7:10.

It's Friday, and that means downtown Tampa's the place to be for the Friday Extra Concert Series, this week featuring jazz artist Whitney James at Curtis Hixon Park. Next door at the Tampa Museum of Art, you can enjoy the exhibits for free from 4-8 p.m. And in case you missed it, you can read about its Sono Café in case you want to make a date night of it.

On the other side of the bay, a new midday concert series has started on the plaza between the Mahaffey Theater and the Dalí Museum. Featured at noon are Austin Vickrey, Kevin Wilder, Alejandro Arenas and Mark Feinman. BYOL.
