Tuesday's TipSheet

Five things for your radar: Fragrant art, a fun Lightning giveaway, Bush's daughter, election night headquarters and our big deal

With spring bursting out all over, it's time again for Art in Bloom exhibit at St. Petersburg's Museum of Fine Arts. The idea is that floral arrangers were asked to use an arrangement to interpret a painting, and then they're placed in front of the artwork. Some of the works are quite stunning. It's going on through Wednesday at the museum, 255 Beach Drive.

Ordinarily we wouldn't tip you off to a Lightning game because those are on everyone's radar. But then we saw the giveaway theme: It's “Guys Night Out,” and the first 5,000 fans in Lightning gear get a replica Lightning jersey T-shirt. They play the New York Islanders at 7:30 p.m.

Remember back when George W. Bush's twins were in the news for their partying antics? Flash forward to now and admire how Jenna Bush Hager has become a noted author and speaker. She'll be appearing as the keynote speaker at the Women of Distinction Luncheon at noon today at the A La Carte Pavilion in Tampa. Being honored by the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida are Sarah "Scottie" Beasley, Tampa police Chief Jane Castor, Judith Lisi and Margaret M. Sullivan, Ph.D.

Today's election day in Tampa, and in case you're wondering, here's where the mayoral candidates will be setting up camp to wait out the results: Bob Buckhorn will be at the Channelside courtyard and Rose Ferlita will be at the Sons of Italy hall on Lemon Street.

Our big deal today is a crustacean lover's dream: Get $25 worth of food for just $12.50 at the Lobster Pot Bistro.
