Five things for your radar: Presidents Day sales, play ball!, a new fair begins, a star mixologist stirs things up and our daily deal

If you were too busy enjoying the weekend's gorgeous weather to get to any of the Presidents Day sales, there's still time. Our Deal Divas scoped out some of the good ones for you. And there's also this rundown of some of the highlights at the Ellenton Prime Outlets.

Pine no more for baseball's return to Al Lang Field at Progress Energy Park. The St. Petersburg International Baseball League starts play Monday at noon, the first of 13 games in the league that pits teams from Seoul, the Netherlands, Canada, various colleges and even some MLB teams in Florida for spring training (Rays, too).

Today's the last day of the Florida State Fair (Hillsborough County school kids can still get in free to sample mashed potatoes on a stick, though), but if you didn't get your fill of fried stuff, you can book over to the Pasco County Fair, which starts Monday at 3 p.m. for a seven-day run. And guess who's making a special appearance? Everyone's favorite puppet, Lamb Chop! She's here with Malllory Lewis, daughter of famed puppeteer Shari Lewis.

Celebrity mixologist Somer Perez takes over the bar at Datz in Tampa at 6 p.m. What, you haven't heard of her? She's only been named on of the top female mixologists in the country by Page Six magazine. Pull up a seat at the bar and prepare to be dazzled by her concoctions.

This deal of the day won't set you back a lot: Get $10 worth of yummy goodness for just $5 at the You Say When Yogurt Shoppe.
