Tell people that you have 800 to 1,000 little ghosts, goblins, firefighters and superheroes showing up at your door Halloween night for trick-or-treating and they'll likely look at you like you've escaped from an insane asylum. But for many of the households in St. Petersburg's Old Northeast, this is a yearly event that they look forward to (even if it does tend to cost well over $100 to keep the candy supply going for the night). To see it is to believe it, and that's why we're introducing our live Hallowstream tonight on tampabay.com. We'll start broadcasting live from a household at the corner of 17th Avenue NE and Poplar Street at 7 p.m. and keep it streaming for 90 minutes. Watch it on tampabay.com as we capture the crazy costumes, cute kids and dazed parents stumbling along the brick streets.
