Pinellas County

Clearwater Celebrates America

Gates open at 2 p.m. The Mostly Pops Orchestra performs, featuring John, Mary K. and Paul Wilson, followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Coachman Park, 301 Drew St. (727) 562-4700.

St. Pete Beach

Fireworks at Pinellas County Park, 4700 Gulf Blvd., at dusk.

St. Petersburg Fourth

Family fun starts at 2 p.m. in North Straub Park. SOCOM paratroopers land in the park at 7:30 p.m.; the Trailer Choir performs at 8 p.m. Fireworks begin off Spa Beach at 9 p.m. Blankets, lawn chairs, small coolers okay; no personal fireworks. Fifth Avenue NE and Bayshore Drive, St. Petersburg.

Fourth of July at the Pier

Includes '70s-'90s sounds by Rhythm Method (2-5 p.m.), drum circle (5-6 p.m.), dancing to '50s-'70s music of the Suncoast Band (6-10 p.m.). Fireworks at 9 p.m. 800 Second Ave. NE, St. Petersburg. (727) 821-6443.

Gulfport Fireworks and Celebration

Family activities start at 10 a.m. Music by Bobby and the Rockets (4-10 p.m.), parade (6 p.m.). Fireworks at 9 p.m. Downtown waterfront area, Gulfport. (727) 893-1067.

King Gators Treasure Island Fourth of July Spectacular

Activities begin at noon Fri. at Gators Cafe and Saloon and include live music and barbecue (fee for food). Offshore fireworks just south of John's Pass begin at 9 p.m. 12754 Kingfish Drive. (727) 367-8951. Largo Fourth of July Celebration

Featuring family fun and music by DJ beginning at 7 p.m., fireworks at 9 p.m. Largo Central Park, 101 Central Park Drive. (727) 587-6775.

Safety Harbor July Fourth

Music by Rebekah Pulley, John Q and Thunder and Lightning at the marina along Bayshore Boulevard starting at 5 p.m. Also, family activities on the back lawn of Safety Harbor Resort and Spa. Fireworks at 9 p.m. (727) 724-1572.

Tarpon Springs Fireworks

Hillsborough County

Brandon Blast

Radio station WQYK-FM 99.5 provides entertainment at Westfield Brandon starting at 6 p.m. with fireworks at 9 p.m. (813) 661-5100.

Channelside Fourth of July& Fireworks

Music by the Sensations (3-6:30 p.m.), live radio broadcast by WFLZ-FM 93.3 (6-9 p.m.), music by Radio Reset (7 p.m.) and Starfish & Coffee (8 p.m.). Fireworks at 9 p.m. from Garrison Channel. No lawn chairs or coolers. 2-9:30 p.m. 615 Channelside Drive, Tampa. (813) 223-4250.

SS 'American Victory': Self-guided ship tours begin 10 a.m. , picnic food for sale after 3 p.m., music by 23 Skidoo, 6:30-8:30 p.m. $10 fee lets guests tour, then return later for fireworks; discount for 12 and younger. Jackson's Bistro
