Furnituremaker cuts at political divide with cabinet

Looking for a place to stash all those political fliers flooding your mailbox? Local furniture maker Sean McKenzie has created an artistic piece of furniture called Voting Booth (the great divide) that is "a statement on the frustration with both political parties as well as the government's inability to help the majority of Americans and small businesses." The freestanding walnut and curly maple cabinet is split through the top and straight down the center of the doors, revealing a sharp and jagged edge and interior. The art piece is also a functional free standing cabinet with storage inside, priced at $5,500. McKenzie's shop, McKenzie Cabinetry, is at 5695 70th Ave., Pinellas Park. Visit
