For many entrepreneurial moms, their eureka moments came from most mundane realities of motherhood, like running noses and diaper changes.

Take Mindee Doney, developer of Boogie Wipes, a saline wipe that relieves sore, red noses.

Or Grace Welch, inventor of Patemm, a round diaper-changing pad that converts into a diaper bag.

The business women will speak at Moms Reinvented on Saturday, a motivational event by Divine Events. Five mom entrepreneurs will share their stories.

"It's about inspiring women to follow their talents and their dreams,'' said Aly Zamore, co-founder of Divine Events, a social and educational networking group for moms in Tampa. "These are moms who have made it and are successful.''

The event, which includes dinner, raffle and Las Vegas-style games, will benefit the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. One of the speakers, Lisa Becker, recently developed feminine underwear for people with ostomy bags. A Crohn's disease sufferer, Becker had surgery a few years ago to remove part of her large intestine and had trouble finding underwear to conceal the bag. At the time, her daughter, now 4, was just a year old. "I used underwear to create awareness,'' she said. "People have a had time talking about ostomies but not about underwear.''

Today, her company, Ostomysecrets, is helping people worldwide regain confidence and control of their lives. In the past year, she's sold more than $70,000 worth of underwear out her home in Tampa.

Here's a look at the other speakers:

• Katherine Center of Houston: Wrote Everyone is Beautiful and The Bright Side of Disaster, humorous novels about motherhood, kids and life.

• Mindee Doney of Oregon: Created Boogie Wipes as a solution for her children's runny noses. Sales estimated to reach $4.2 million this year.

• Katie Kyres of Tampa: After 15 years as a lawyer, the birth of her daughter inspired her to open Silly Dilly Tot Spot, a South Tampa store "for giddy kiddies of all ages.''

• Grace Welch of San Francisco: Founded the Patemm pad in 2004 based on her own difficulties in changing diapers of her children, Patrick and Emma.
