NEW PORT RICHEY — The final competition and announcement of winners of $11,000 in prize money in the Native American dance competition will be at 1 p.m. today during Chasco Fiesta, Pasco County's oldest, largest and longest annual event.
Chasco continues daily through April 6.
The dancers will perform for a final time today before the judges in the Native American performance ring by the Cotee River in Sims Park.
The fourth day of Chasco starts early, with the Cotee River Lions Club Breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. in the park and the Gulfside Corvette Club Chasco Car, Truck and Bike Show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. around Orange Lake.
Meanwhile, the Chasco Fiesta Flea Market, Craft and Antique Sale continues in the Recreation and Aquatic Center on Van Buren Street from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the carnival, West Pasco Sertoma beef barbecue and other food vendors will be open near Sims Park.
Two special shows will be presented on the amphitheater stage.
