Louis CK His comedy act is dark, personal, profane and insanely funny. He won an Emmy for writing Chris Rock's groundbreaking HBO show, and his semi-autobiographical FX show Louis is coming back for a second season. You can see him in his element Saturday when he brings his Word tour to Tampa. The show is at 8 p.m. at the Tampa Theatre, 711 Franklin St. Tickets are $26.75-$58.50. (813) 274-8982.

Ice skating Hard as it might be to believe, they've figured out how to build an outdoor ice skating rink at Curtis Hixon Park in balmy Tampa. It opens Friday and runs through Jan. 2. Cost is $10 for 90 minutes, which includes skate rentals.
