Think you have the pipes to sing the national anthem before a baseball game? The Blue Jays want singers to warble both O Canada and The Star-Spangled Banner to win the right to sing the before the 2012 Toronto Blue Jays spring training games and the Dunedin Blue Jays Florida State League games. Be sure to practice. You don't want to end up like Steven Tyler (couldn't hit the high notes) or Christina Aguilera (at right, muffed the words) or Roseanne Barr (infamously shrill, off-pitch rendition). Auditions will take place at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium in Dunedin from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. But first, you must schedule an appointment by calling (727) 738-7067. You will not be allowed to audition without an appointment. — Sharon Kennedy Wynne
