On Saturday's radar: roots rock at Skipper's, the Amazing Kreskin at Straz, 'Casablanca' at Tampa Theatre

Americana Fest: This sixth annual WMNF event at the Skipperdome has Florida's top Americana and roots rock bands, including local favorites Have Gun, Will Travel; Rebekah Pulley & the Reluctant Prophets; Alexander & the Grapes; and Sunset Bridge. It starts at 4 p.m. at Skipper's Smokehouse, 910 Skipper Road, Tampa. $15.

Tropical Plant Fair: Don't fight the heat — bloom with it. Find rare and unusual fruit trees and get advice from experts. It's $5; kids under 12 and members are admitted free at USF Florida Botanical Gardens, 12210 USF Pine Drive, Tampa. It runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The Amazing Kreskin: The mentalist, hypnotist and magician (Don't call him a psychic. He says it's all science and body language.) has entertained audiences for decades. See him at 8 p.m., Ferguson Hall at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa. $25-$35.

Casablanca: Part of Tampa Theatre's summer classics series, the 1942 triple Oscar winner starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman will have you immersed in the WWII love triangle. 3 p.m., Tampa Theatre, 711 Franklin St., Tampa. $9.

Bark at the Ball Park: It's time to raise the woof at the ballpark. Fido's welcome to join you to see the Clearwater Threshers take on the Jupiter Hammerheads and even do a post-game run of the bases at your side. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Benefits the Humane Society of Pinellas. Bright House Field, 601 N Old Coachman Road, Clearwater. $5-$9 humans, $5 dogs.
