On the radar: upcoming local entertainment

Keller Williams: The highly likable entertainer offers funk, bluegrass, rock, reggae, whistling, folksy raps and funny business. He's returning to the one-man "loop" act he's built his career upon. Essentially, Williams records himself playing, then puts it on a loop so that he can switch to other instruments and arrangements. It gives the illusion of a full band, and frankly, it dazzles. 8 p.m. Jannus Landing, 16 Second St. N, St. Petersburg. $20 advance, $24 day of show. (727) 896-2276.

Celine Dion: The Canadian diva comes to town with her Taking Chances tour, returning to soldout stadiums across the country. 7:30 p.m. St. Pete Times Forum, 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa. $46.75 and up. (813) 301-2500.

John Legend: The neo-soul singer and pianist combines the raw fervor of contemporaries Cody Chesnutt and the burning precision of D'Angelo. Performs with Estelle. 8 p.m. Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 McMullen-Booth Road, Clearwater. $39.50-$59.50. (727) 791-7400.

Royal Lipizzan Stallions Winter Training: The fabulous flying white Lipizzan horses as seen in Walt Disney's Miracle of the White Stallions train not too far from the bay area, and visitors are welcome to watch. 3 p.m. Thursday-Friday, 10 a.m. Saturday, through April 30. Herrmann Lipizzan Ranch, 32755 Singletary Road, Myakka City. Free admission, but donations are appreciated. Reservations required for groups of 15 or more. (941) 322-1501.

St. Petersburg College Jazz Festival: With Helios Jazz Orchestra and resident jazz ensemble of SPC music department. 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Friday. St. Petersburg College Music Center, 6605 Fifth Ave. N, St. Petersburg. $10 per day, SPC students/staff free. (727) 341-4301.

Auto! Automatic!! The band performs in a two-day concert with Look Mexico, the Dark Romantics and TV Club. 21-and-older event. 9 p.m. New World Brewery, 1313 E Eighth Ave., Ybor City. $7. (813) 248-4969.

Emerge! Art Party: Appropriately enough, the theme of this month's show is "Changes." Local artists explore what change means to them. 7-10 p.m. Tampa Artist Emporium, 3415 Bay to Bay Blvd., Tampa. Free. (813) 835-0212.
