On your radar: A play, a comic, a concert and a movie in a park

Race: Jobsite Theater stages David Mamet's play about a law firm handling a case in which a rich white man is accused of raping a young black woman. It's at 8 p.m. at Shimberg Playhouse at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa. Tickets start at $24.50. (813) 229-7827.

Timothy B. Schmit: The Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer best known for his work as bass player and singer for Poco and the Eagles performs at 7:30 p.m. at Capitol Theatre in Clearwater. $37.50–$45. (727) 791-7400.

Dan Cummins: The comic (Last Comic Standing, Crazy With A Capital F) fills his standup show with absurd observations and dark autobiographical humor. He performs at 8 p.m. at Improv Comedy Theater in Tampa. $15–$17. (813) 864-4000.

Music and Movies in the Park: Bring a picnic and settle in to watch local favorite Rebekah Pulley perform before this week's movie, 1993's Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan rom-com Sleepless in Seattle.
