On your radar: A silent disco? Apparently that's a thing — check it out for yourself in Tampa

Silent Disco: Imagine a giant dance party with no music. That's the essential effect of a Silent Disco, in which people dance to music broadcast on wireless headphones. 7 p.m., Ritz Ybor, 1503 E Seventh Ave., Tampa. $16.

City Bike Tampa Urban Restaurant and Movie Tour: The group will bike from Malio's to Mise En Place for tapas then head to Hyde Park CineBistro to see Bicycle Dreams, a documentary about the Race Across America, before riding to dessert. Dinner and a movie: A fundraiser for Sweetwater Organic Community Farm, Tampa's urban organic farm and education center, promotes a more sustainable table. Chipotle Mexican Grill will give a free burrito dinner, drink and T-shirt to the first 100 people. Fresh, a 72-minute film about the sustainable food movement, will be screened. 7 p.m., MOSI, 4801 E Fowler Ave., Tampa. $10 donation, $5 with student ID.

Architecture in Helsinki: The Australian indie pop quintet performs at 8 p.m., Crowbar, 1812 N 17th St., Tampa. $15–$17.

DJ Teresa: Focusing on tech-house music that's influenced by the sounds of Spain, Teresa delivers a range of funky, Latin, minimal and underground beats. Show is 21 and up only. 10 p.m., Hyde Park Cafe, 1806 W Platt St., Tampa. Free.

Kids and family

Ice Palace at International Plaza: Christmas arrives at International Plaza today in the form of a 22-foot dome with a snow and light show and polar bear footage from BBC Earth. Roaming snow princess characters, visits with Santa, Santa Paws pet pictures and family photos on an ice throne. Free gift for kids while supplies last starting at 10 a.m.

Season premiere, Braxton Family Values, 9 p.m., WEtv: Toni leaves Atlanta for L.A., instantly making this series half as watchable as it was before.

Series premiere, Chef Hunter, 10 p.m., Food: Three unemployed chefs battle for a real job as an executive chef by lumbering through clumsy challenges.
