Largo First Friday Street Festival: Street performers, art vendors and music are on hand with a themed celebration in honor of the upcoming Bay Area Renaissance Festival at 6 p.m. at Clearwater Largo Road S and First Avenue SW in Largo. Free.

David Nail: Nail is fairly new to the country scene, but singles like Turning Home and Let It Rain continue to chart in the top 20. He'll rock his country roots at 7 p.m. at the Dallas Bull in Tampa. $15. (813) 987-2855.

Sunset Cinema at Pier 60: Uh oh, is it Feb. 2 again? Relive that day over and over with Bill Murray at this screening of Groundhog Day about 6 p.m. at Pier 60, Clearwater Beach. Free.

Richard Thompson Electric Trio: The prolific songwriter brings his acoustic and electric virtuosity to the Tampa Theatre at 8 p.m. $26–$46. (813) 274-8982.

Get Downtown First Friday Music Series: Festivities include food and music by Will Erickson at 5:30 p.m. between Second and Third streets on Central Avenue in downtown St. Petersburg. Free; refreshments extra.
