On your radar: Bright Light Social Hour rolls into Ybor, Hard Rock auctions celebrities' guitars and St. Pete's Music and Movies in the Park screens 'Major League'

The Bright Light Social Hour: The much-buzzed-about rock band from Austin, Texas, plays at 8 p.m. at Crowbar, 1812 N 17th St., Tampa. $10.

T-Pain: The Florida-bred rapper performs one night before he takes the stage with Chris Brown in Tampa. Show is 10 p.m. at Club Underground, 802 E Whiting St., Tampa. $10–$50.

Music and Movies in the Park: Pack a picnic and enjoy the waterfront of St. Petersburg's North Straub Park. The music starts at 6 p.m., and the 1989 Charlie Sheen comedy Major League starts at dark. Free.

Wiregrass Wine Walk: Stroll among the shops and enjoy wine, hors d' oeuvres and live music on four stages Thursday evenings in October starting at 6 p.m. at the Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel. $10.

Rock the Park: This free monthly concert series brings the Pauses, King of Spain, Mrenc and Rec Center. Food and beverages on site starting at 6:30 p.m. at Curtis Hixon Park, 600 N Ashley Drive, Tampa. Free.

Celebrity Guitar Auction: The Hard Rock Cafe holds a charity auction of guitars decorated and signed by celebrities including Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, Charlie Daniels and Blake Shelton. It's 7 p.m. at 5223 Orient Road, Tampa. $10.

Das Racist: The Brooklyn alternative-rap trio is jokey, ironic, experimental, multicultural and hipster-approved at 7 p.m. at State Theatre in St. Petersburg. $15.

Marc Broussard: This Louisiana troubadour specializes in contemporary R&B and soul, with a bit of Cajun flair at 7:30 p.m. at Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St., Clearwater. $22–$35.

Weird Al Yankovic: Our Stuck in the '80s blogger says parody king Weird Al puts on one of the best stage shows you'll ever see at 8 p.m. at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. $35–$55.
