On your radar: Catch up with one of the original Pussycat Dolls, see a performance of 'Grey Gardens,' attend Aubrey Fest or get scared straight at MOSI

Kaya Jones: One of the original Pussycat Dolls from the early days, Jones left the group to pursue a solo career on the club scene as a singer. See her perform a live show at 9 p.m. at Jackson's Bistro Restaurant, 601 S Harbour Island Blvd., Tampa.

Grey Gardens: It's opening night for this original musical based on the haunting story of how the aunt and first cousin to Jackie Kennedy ended up living in squalor in their neglected East Hampton mansion. It runs through Oct. 2. Show is 8 p.m. at Freefall Theatre, 6099 Central Ave., St. Petersburg. $37, $34 for students/seniors, $44 for premium seating.

Adin and Ferguson: Choreographer-director Chase Adin and composer Chris Ferguson put on four new works from the artistic duo and a work from their past repertoire. Guest artist dance company Moving Ethos will perform. Show is 8 p.m. at Studio@620, 620 First Ave. S, St. Petersburg. $20, $15 students and seniors.

The Hazies: One of the standout bands of the Tampa Bay scene of the 1990s plays at 8 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St., Clearwater. $15–$20.

Aubrey Fest: A night of the best bits from plays by Aubrey Hampton, a Gorilla Theatre co-founder who died earlier this year. Starts at 8 p.m. at 4419 N Hubert Ave., Tampa. Pay what you can tonight. (813) 879-2914; gorillatheatre.com.

DEA exhibit: Today is the opening day for the yearlong exhibit from the Drug Enforcement Administration at the Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa, with scaring-straight pieces such as a drug-related car wreck, a methamphetamine hotel cook room and an Afghan heroin "factory." $20.95 adults (13–59), $16.95 child (2–12), $18.95 seniors (60+).

Season premiere, Real Time with Bill Maher, 10 p.m., HBO: The snarky comic returns with Keith Olbermann as a guest and comic Louis C.K.

2011 NCLR ALMA Awards, 8 p.m., NBC: Eva Longoria and George Lopez co-host this ceremony for accomplished entertainers of Latin origin. Oh, Christina Aguilera, you're still not fooling anyone.
