On your radar: Check out a 'Star Wars'-themed party in Ybor, or find free art in downtown St. Petersburg

Free Art Friday: Artists will place free art around St. Petersburg, and anyone walking by is encouraged to pick it up. Look for it from morning to evening, in the 600 block of Central Avenue and between Seventh Street and Beach Drive from First Avenue N to First Avenue S.

Star Wars Day at the Bricks: May the Fourth be with you as you celebrate Luke Skywalker and Co. at a party with music by DJ Cub. It's 10 p.m. at the Bricks, 1327 E Seventh Ave., Tampa. No cover. (813) 247-1785.

Florida Orchestra; The Music of Billy Joel: Michael Cavanaugh from the Broadway musical Movin' Out joins the orchestra to perform Joel classics at 8 p.m. at Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg. $35–$75.

Rock the Park: tbt* Ultimate Local Artists Sleepy Vikings, the Groves, Crash Mitchell 5, and Drake and Sofia perform at 6:30 p.m. in Kiley Gardens in Tampa, next to the usual spot in Curtis Hixon Park. Free.
