Black Violin: Classical meets hip-hop in this duo of classically trained violinists at 8:30 p.m. at Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa. Tickets start at $10.

Lil Kim and Trina: This could be the biggest party of the weekend, or it could be a bust — you know how these things go. Rappers Lil Kim and Trina are booked to appear tonight at 10:30 p.m. at the IMAX Channelside, 615 Channelside Drive Suite 123, Tampa. $30–$50, with all-access VIP tickets going for $150. Jimmy Shubert: You may recognize the standup comic for his recurring role on King of Queens and his own Comedy Central special. Shows are 8 and 10:15 p.m. at Side Splitters Comedy Club, Tampa. $10–$12.

Jack Hanna at Busch Gardens: Join "Jungle Jack" Hanna for a day of wild animal shows, autograph signings and special meet and greets when he visits Busch Gardens for the day. See him at the Stanleyville Theater at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Included with admission.
