Black Violin: Classical meets hip-hop in this duo of classically trained violinists at 8:30 p.m. at Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa. Tickets start at $10.

Lil Kim and Trina: This could be the biggest party of the weekend, or it could be a bust — you know how these things go. Rappers Lil Kim and Trina are booked to appear tonight at 10:30 p.m. at the IMAX Channelside, 615 Channelside Drive Suite 123, Tampa. $30–$50, with all-access VIP tickets going for $150.
