On your radar: Howie Mandel, a food truck fiesta, the circus — three totally true options

Howie Mandel: Best known these days as a judge on America's Got Talent and as host of Deal or No Deal, the actor and comedian brings his stand-up comedy to town at 7:30 p.m. at Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St., Clearwater. $69–$85. (727) 791-7400.

Million Dollar Quartet: This musical is inspired by the famed recording session that brought together Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time. Part of the Straz's Broadway Series, it runs through Sunday. It's 7:30 p.m. at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets start at $38.50. (813) 229-7827.

Mayor's Food Truck Fiesta: This gathering of the mobile kitchens features numerous food trucks, from Jimmy Meatball to Wicked 'Wiches, The Killer Samich Truck and more starting at 11 a.m. at Joe Chillura Courthouse Square, Kennedy Blvd. and Morgan St., Tampa.

Delius Festival: The Palladium Theater hosts a screening of Song of Summer, Ken Russell's movie on celebrated composer Frederick Delius. Beer and wine available. It's 7:30 p.m. at 253 Fifth Ave. N, St. Petersburg. Free.

Kids and family

Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus: It's opening night, and Times columnist Ernest Hooper will be the guest ringmaster. He'll also recognize some guests in the audience from Metropolitan Ministries. The circus runs through Sunday.
