Kym Purling and Friends Benefit: Pianist Kym Purling and an all-star band, plus other local jazz musicians, host this night of jazz music to benefit the children of Nepal. A portion of the proceeds will support the Global Action Coalition, a food program that feeds children. 7:30 p.m., Palladium Theater, 253 Fifth Ave. N, St. Petersburg. $20.

The Glitch Mob: This electronic trio (Drink the Sea) performs tonight at 8 p.m., Czar, 1420 E Seventh Ave., Tampa. $15 in advance, $20 day of show.

Swagg Fest: The rain on Friday canceled this show featuring three rising hip-hop acts based in Tampa Bay: Lil Kee, Shawty and Famous Kid Brick. All tickets purchased for the July 8 show will be honored. Doors open at 7 p.m. at Jannus Live!, 16 Second St. N, St. Petersburg. $10–$15.

Edward Maya: Romanian DJ club king Edward Maya brings his hitmaking Eastern bloc beats, along with Russian songstress Vika Jigulina, to the Venue, 2675 Ulmerton Road, St. Petersburg at 10 p.m. $10-$20. (727) 571-2222; thevenueclub.com.
