On your radar: Judas Priest says goodbye; Elmo's Super Heroes say hello

Judas Priest: Catch the British metal legends while you can, because their stop in Tampa is part of the group's farewell tour. Thin Lizzy and Black Label Society will open the show at 6 p.m. at 1-800-ASK-GARY Amphitheatre, 4802 U.S. 301 N, Tampa. $91. (813) 740-2446.

Dave Koz and Friends: The Grammy-nominated saxophone player hosts his 2011 Christmas Tour, a show that brings together trumpet player Rick Braun, South African singer/guitarist Jonathan Butler and saxophone player Candy Dulfer at 8 p.m. at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. $48–$85.

Tampa's Bravest Firefighter Auction: Bid to win dates with firemen from 6 to 9 p.m. at Blue Martini at International Plaza, Tampa. Proceeds benefit Camp Hopetake Children's Burn Camp. No cover.

Ybor Tree Lighting: Santa and some Tampa children will light the 34-foot tree in Centro Ybor accompanied by live carolers. Festivities start at 6 p.m. at 1600 E Eighth Ave., Ybor City. Free.

Elmo's Super Heroes: Super Grover needs help and it's Elmo and friends to the rescue as this musical production zooms into Tampa. Shows are at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the St. Pete Times Forum. $12, $16 and $22.
