On your radar: Organists performing eerie classics, 'Romeo + Juliet' and chalk art

Rascal Flatts: The country superstars bring along Little Big Town for a show at 7 p.m. at 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheatre in Tampa. $29.75–$65.25. (813) 740-2446.

PipeScreams: Bay area organists perform eerie classics along with pumpkin carols at 7 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 467 First Ave. N, St. Petersburg. Free. (727) 822-3343.

Romeo + Juliet: It's opening night for Freefall's production of the Shakespeare classic. The innovative theater promises surprises. It's at 8 p.m. at Freefall Theatre in St. Petersburg. $37–$44. (727) 498-5205.

Chalk Art Festival: Artists begin work this afternoon along the beach walk near Crabby Bill's on south Clearwater Beach and work through the weekend on their creations. Awards take place on Sunday afternoon. Free.

Helloween: The theme for this year's party — always one of the most outrageous of the year — is Skinned. There's a haunted house and costume contest, which should be interesting given the theme. It's at 10 p.m. at Jackson's Bistro, 601 S Harbour Island Blvd., Tampa. $20 men, $15 women. (813) 277-0112.

To watch

Kitchen Nightmares, 8 p.m., Fox New episodes. More yelling. It's like Fox News, but with food instead of politics.
