Mayor's Food Truck Fiesta: This second gathering of the mobile kitchens features The Taco Bus, Wicked 'Wiches, The Killer Samich Truck and more. Come early and wait a bit in line, at 11 a.m. at Joe Chillura Courthouse Square in Tampa.

Dickey Betts and the Great Southern: Legendary lead guitarist with the Allman Brothers Band, Dickey Betts is part of the team that wrote such classic songs as In Memory of Elizabeth Reed and Ramblin' Man. Show is 7:30 p.m. at Ferguson Hall at David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa. $29.50–$69.50. (813) 229-7827.

Kids and family

Jingle Bell Run: Walkers and runners (along with kids and the family dog) don bells and neon necklaces for 3-mile and 1-mile runs/walks along St. Petersburg's downtown waterfront. It's 7:30 p.m. at The Pier, 800 Second Ave. NE, St. Petersburg. $18, $13 ages 11 and younger.
