Les Miserables: This 25th anniversary production of the mostly all-sung classic set in 1830s Paris features re-imagined staging and quicker pace at 7:30 p.m. at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa. $55–$110. (813) 229-7827.

Sea Monsters: Venom, ultra vision and jaws are just a few "monster" features of sea animals explained in this interactive exhibit. See it from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at McGough Nature Park in Largo. Free.

Capitol Classics Film Series: King Creole: Elvis Presley stars as a 19-year-old who's forced to drop out of school and work to support his unemployed father at 7 p.m. at Capitol Theatre in Clearwater. $5.
