On your radar: Tyler Hilton plays the Orpheum in Ybor, Freefall Theatre starts cabaret series, Threshers host Yappy Hour and food trucks rally in Tampa

Tyler Hilton: The singer/songwriter (who's also been on CW's One Tree Hill) performs with Dion Roy, My Name Forever and New Cathedral at 6:30 p.m. at the Orpheum, 1915 E Seventh Ave., Ybor City. $10–$12. (813) 248-9500.

Summer Tandem Series: Actors Alison Burns and Lulu Picart team up (after appearing together in Rent, The Rocky Horror Show and Man of La Mancha) for their cabaret She's Not My Type in this summer series of cabaret acts from local performers. Mayor's Food Truck Fiesta: Gourmet food trucks provide a smorgasbord of food on wheels in downtown Tampa the first Wednesday of every month. It kicks off at 11 a.m. at Lykes Gaslight Square Park, 410 Franklin St., Tampa. Free admission. tastingtampa.com.

Coffee with a Curator: This monthly PowerPoint talk presented by one of the museum's education team features William Jeffett discussing "Dalí's Grotesque Carnival." It's at 10:15 a.m. at Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg. Free. (727) 823-3767.

Yappy Hour at the Baseball Game: This Yappy Hour celebrates Christmas in July to benefit the Humane Society of Pinellas. Dress up your dog in a holiday costume and bring a toy for the pet toy drive.
